Slot Game RPG is a casual arcade-RPG slot machine game where the player can spin with out real money being involved. You can trade your herb for berries and sharpen your attack skills at the cost of diamonds. Luck is the main requirement for this RNG based game, which is something you can enjoy testing while changing the tone of the game to the color of your choice!

Gather Mode:

Requiring a minimum of 10 items total to continue to battle mode, gather mode gives the player the option to spin to collect money, herbs, diamonds, and berries. This is useful for before entering a battle, where the berries can be used for healing, by luck of course. The diamonds and money can be used in the shop, you can use the diamonds to upgrade your attack damage by +3, and you can use the money to buy items. The herbs are mainly used to trade for berries, since the player has no other usage for them.

Battle Mode:

The main difference with slots is now you can’t collect herbs, the berry slots will consume a berry for health, with the potency depending on how many berries you roll. The sword slots do damage towards the enemy and the skull slot does damage towards you.

Will you be lucky enough to defeat all the enemies on your first go?

That's a pretty cool game. I liked the simplistic, cartoonish art style. The menus did have some humor in them which was enjoyable. The game did feel kind of slow with having to roll every time and constantly getting berries during combat despite not having any more. I did find a but with the slots however. If you run during combat while the slots are still moving it will lock the slots screen and you cannot continue the game without restarting first. Its definitely a fun concept and looks really polished! Nice work!

I liked the idea of the slot machine with RPG elements with it, as it adds many elements of randomness that can happen. At first, I was confused about how the slot machine translated into fighting, but after a while, I managed to figure it out. And I do like that you change the color theme to fit your personal preference.

The credits do not list the sources of your assets. Did you make everything yourself? Its strange that the "Back" button adds Color but not the "Next" button.

Was the Option menu meant to be empty? It would be useful to turn down the music or sound effects.

I think it was interesting that you made the slot machine work. The spin animation for that felt very realistic and it was satisfying to watch it land on each image. That being said, I had no idea what I was supposed to do. I understood enough to spin the slot machine, but I wasn’t sure what spins decided a win, or how it was calculated at all. The menu told me to defeat 5 enemies, but I had no clue what I was fighting or even how the slot machine translated into fighting.

I liked the option to change the color theme of the game, but it did seem to be nonreactive the first time you interact with it. I appreciated the comedic remarks in the options panel. I really would have appreciated some sort of tutorial or instructions on what was happening with the game or shop. It was very confusing to try to figure out what the game meant for me to do to kill all 5 enemies. I understand that there is the section in the bottom below the game with some explanation, but having more direction in game would be appreciated.
